Streep Style

According to my calculations, Meryl Streep celebrated her 62nd birthday last week. Happy Birthday Meryl, hope Peter Jensen sent you something from his 2012 Resort Collection! The Danish designer has chosen Meryl as his muse for a range of seventies-inspired pieces in a retro-tastic colour palette. That's Not My Age loves Streep Chic. You can't beat the paired-down, tomboyish-feel of a classic trench, skinny ankle-crop trouser and simple shirt - a grown-up, mannish look that's totally in keeping with Phoebe Philo's Céline Classics for autumn 2011.

Streep won an Academy Awards for best actress in Kramer vs Kramer and apparently, in all the excitement, left it on the back of a toilet in the ladies' room. Not quite sure where her Sophie's Choice Oscar ended up.
