Rice High School is closing down.

I'm am very sad to hear the news about Rice High School being shut down at the end of this school year. No more seeing the young guys in their green sweaters. As a young girl I use to attend the Rice parties and in my day there were nothing but cuties in that school lol.
Rice High was an all boys Roman Catholic School located in Harlem, known for their high academics and great basketball players (Kemba Walker).  It was open for 73 years but now has to close due to financial issues.
It was said that the board of directors did everything they could to keep the school up and running but with low enrollment and not enough money they have to close.

It's so sad because this school helped a lot of our young black males, with all of their graduates going to college this year. There has to be something we can do to keep it open. I think we should fundraise!!
