The singer/songwriter and 1/2 of the duo Ashford and Simpson passed away in New York City after complications with throat cancer.
Ashford and Simpson were known for their great hits like "Ain't nothing like the real thing" and "Aint no mountain high enough"
My condolences go out to Ms Valerie. I know her birthday is coming up this week. Your Sugar Bar family will definitely be there to support you!
